|  | | | The Royal Cities | 1. day | Arrival in Agadir Airport Massira. Our local representatives welcome you to Morocco. Your are transferred to our hotel, where supper and accomodation for the night is arranged. | 2. day | Agadir - Essaouira - Safi
After breakfast we travel along the Atlantic coast to the north. After about 190 km you arrive in Essaouira, known as "the white pearl of the Atlantic" which still can boast a completely intact Medina. The Kasbah offers a splendid view over the bay and the harbour. We drive on to Safi. On arrival we visit the fishing harbour, well known for the sardines, and the pottery quarter. Supper and over night stay in a hotel. | 3. day | Safi - Casablanca - Rabat After breakfast, we drive to Rabat via Casablanca and El Jadida. On arrival we make a short city tour through Casablanca, which is the largest city the country, with about 3 million inhabitants. It is also the centre of the Moroccan economy. The old Medina and various Muslim quarters still have their original charm. We travel on to Rabat, the state capital and seat of the king. In the afternoon we visit the king's palace, the graves of the Sultans in the Chellah Necropolis, the tomb of Mohammed V and the Oudaiai Kasbah. Dinner and overnight accommodation in a hotel. | 4. day | Rabat - Meknes - Fes Today we visit Meknes, a city with the most impressive gate in Morocco, the Bab El Mansolur El Aleuj. Meknes is often called the Moroccan Versailles and was for many centuries, along with neighbouring Fes, the preferred royal residence. We go to visit the large storage halls, stables and the Medina with the large mosque. We drive on to Fes via Moulay Idriss, the holy city, and Volubilis. Dinner and accomodation in a hotel. | 5. day | Fes Today we tour Fes on foot. Fes is the oldest Moroccan royal city. We visit the three city areas, Fes El Djedid, Fes El Bail and the new town. The massive walls, which surrounds the entire old part of town. It's worth taking a look at the Batha palace (late 19th century), which an arts and crafts today. Finally we visit the Koran school Bou dnalnia, the Karaouine mosque and the tomb of Moulay Idriss II, the founder of Fes, as well as the potters quarter. Overnight and supper in a hotel. | 6. day | Fes - Beni Mellal - Marrakech We travel on to Beni Mellal, a commercial centre on the west edge of the middle Atlas, through picturesque Atlas mountains. The main attraction is the Kasbah Ain Asserdoune and garden, lain on a hill. We then drive on to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight accommodation in a hotel. | 7. day | Marrakesch
On today's schedule is a tour of Marrakech, the world from 1001 nights. In the city, which is covered by thousands of palm trees, there are many objects of interest: palaces, mosques, Koran schools, gardens, extensive Souks and the enormous market place Djemaa el Fna. There you will find snake charmers, water salesmen, fire eaters and fairy tale tellers. Dinner and overnight accommodation in a hotel. | 8. day | Marrakesch - Agadir After breakfast you are transferred to the Marrakesch Menara airport for your or return flight, or you can extend your stay for a few days of relaxing and bathing in Agadir | | Book your trip here |
