The Royal Cities Tour II

1. day Arrival in Marrakech or Agadir Accommodation and Supper in the Riad Hotel Sherazade in the Marrakech Medina 2. day Casablanca - Rabat - Meknes After breakfast, the journey starts to Casablanca with a short tour through the largest city in the country. Which is also the  main centre of Moroccan commerce The city was founded by the Portuguese. The French later built the city with wide boulevards lined with palm trees, which gives the city the feel of being a large  European city. We also visit the large mosque Hassan II. After which we travel on to Rabat and a tour of the capital city, located on the delta of the Bou Regr eg. This is the residence of the king and seat of the government. Tour details: the Mechouar place, the palace, the unfinished mosque Hassan tower, the mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Oudaya Kasbah. Meknes is called also known as the Moroccan Versailles. We then travel on to Fes. In Fes we tour on foot. Fes is the oldest of the Moroccan royal cities. We visit the three town quarters Fes El Djedid, Fes El Bail and new town. The immense walls, which surrounds the entire old town, are very impressive. The Batha palace, built at the end of the 19. century, which houses an arts and crafts museum is also worth seeing. Here we visit the Koran school Bou dnalnia, the Karaouine mosque, the tomb of Moulay Idriss II, the city founder and the potters quarter. Accommodation with breakfast in a 3-Star hotel 4. day Fes 2 Tag Today we continue the tour of Fes on foot Accommodation with breakfast in a 3-Star hotel 5. day Fes - Beni Mellal After breakfast, we travel on to Immouzzer, Ifrane (known as one of the most beautiful ski resourts in Morocco), Azrou, Col you Zad (2178 m), through the ravines of the river Ziz, Midelt and Errachidia. We drive on into the southern part of the middle Atlas and visit the largest waterfall in Morocco. Accommodation with breakfast in Beni Mellal 6. day Beni-Mellal - Marrakesch We travel on to Marrakech, the city of 1001 nights. In this town, where there are literally thousands of palm trees, there are many places worth seeing: palaces, mosques, Koran schools, the extensive Souks and the huge market place Djemaa el Fna, where snake charmers, water sellers and fire eaters entertain you. Or extend your holiday stay with bathing and relaxing.
